Meredith Arthur MS, RD, LD has been a dietitian since 2001. She has taught undergraduate nutrition classes at Texas Woman's University, worked in the wellness industry, worked as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician writing Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and is currently working with adults with disabilities that are on medicaid waiver programs to maximize their overall health. This current job at Soundly Speaking Therapy Services, and her own daughter with special needs, has forced her from her role as an ordinary dietitian into a "nutrition detective". Her biggest goal in life is to help those considered lost causes by the mainstream world. She believes that despite bodily weakness, people can still remain strong. In her spare time she homesteads in the great state of Texas with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a parakeet. In the wee hours of the morning she writes blogs that she calls "brain dumps" on her website, Weak Therefore Strong. She is always learning and believes that it takes many minds coming together to solve problems. She never passes up a chance to listen to a person's health story because it may help someone else she meets in her future.
